In 2018 MAMA hosted our first ever safety event, Safety in Automotive Manufacturing, to share best practices in the industry with other professionals. This event received such positive feedback from attendees that we decided to make it an annual event and to broaden our targeted audience. In 2019, MAMA hosted Industrial Safety at the Nissan Training Center in Canton, MS. Suppliers, OEMs, and service companies from across the state joined together to present topics that appealed to any industry including How Safety Affects Insurance, Environmental Health & Safety Leadership, Safety 5-rule, and more.
